“The Way Things Are Going to Be Just Began:” Exploring Hypnotic Language - Ethel Barber, LCSW, SEP
Event Description:In an experiential group, participants will be able to explore, understand and make use of Ericksonian techniques and assist our body/mind to relax and heal.
This workshop will include a brief description of Erickson’s life work focusing on an understanding of body/mind interrelationship, followed by group process and discussion.
Ethel Barber, LCSW, SEP, has studied and used the work of Milton H. Erickson Hypnosis to benefit patients with pain as a social worker in hospice care. She studied in and served on the Board of the New York State Society of Milton H. Erickson Psychotherapy and Hypnosis (1996 -2000). She has trained with masters in the field. She currently maintains a private practice in Cobble Hill.
